Handok’s Theracurmin has won the grand prize in the health food (curcumin) category of the “2025 Korea Luxury Brand Awards” for two consecutive years.
Theracurmin is a product that significantly enhances the bioavailability of curcumin, a component of turmeric, while eliminating turmeric’s characteristic bitterness and aroma for easy consumption. Curcumin has been selected as the top health food ingredient by U.S. consumers1).
Globally, research on curcumin’s health benefits is actively ongoing. However, regular curcumin is present in turmeric in small amounts and has a low absorption rate of about 1%. Theracurmin addresses these issues, boosting curcumin bioavailability by 42 to 85 times and guaranteeing a curcumin content of up to 30%. Developed by the pharmaceutical company Handok and produced under strict quality control, Theracurmin continues to improve through ongoing research and development.
“Theracurmin Super Plus 100” offers 42.6 times higher bioavailability than standard curcumin, with one sachet providing 100mg of curcumin. A single box (60 sachets) delivers the equivalent of 9.3kg of turmeric’s curcumin. Available in powder form, it can be mixed into detox juices, added to rice, or used in various recipes. “Theracurmin Max 60” is a convenient small-tablet product with 85.2 times higher bioavailability than standard curcumin. Taking two tablets provides 60mg of curcumin, and one box (60 tablets) delivers the equivalent of 5.6kg of turmeric’s curcumin.
