Theravalues Mission and Values
With our unique perspectives, our ability to generate ideas and our person-to-person networks, we strive to improve the physical and mental condition of people around the world. Our mission is to contribute to healthier, more comfortable lives. Our means to achieve these goals is to conduct research, develop finished products, and create business models that are based on sound science and technology.
Bearing these concepts in mind, Theravalues Corporation has established the following guides to its conduct:
Maintain a global perspective.
Find what people in Japan and the rest of the world need and evolve the identified challenges into constructive solutions.
Look to the next ten years.
Provide, in a timely fashion, new values in the fields of medical/nutritional support and mental health that people will truly need in the future, rather than relying on existing values.
Aim for balanced health.
Act with the intention to improve quality of life and promote health and wellness by going beyond the treatment of physical and mental illnesses to also address prevention.
New Values and Products
Theravalue’s Research and Development personnel flexibly and freely leverage their own and others’ knowledge, intelligence, and creativity to produce new values and products that are meaningful for society.
Innovative thinking that challenges conventional wisdom, combined with cutting-edge, technology-based research, is indispensable in new product development. We continually search for raw materials that may lead to potential commercial products. Our medical- and scientific-based R&D activities are an on-going effort to unravel the mechanisms of pharmacological action and verify significant efficacies. Universities and public organizations often “warehouse” valuable knowledge, technologies and concepts. We seek to reveal and re-discover hidden knowledge and technologies and develop them into beneficial products and services using our creative, entrepreneurial skills.

Commitment to Quality
Theravalues Corporation carefully monitors its product manufacturing, production control and quality control for quality assurance so that our customers can trust our products and use them safely. In addition to quality inspections of our finished products, we set our own standards for the purchase of raw materials. We conduct rigorous quality inspections and use only those materials that pass these inspections. Given that the raw materials we use, including curcumin, are agricultural products, we have established in-house standards that are more exacting than the government’s standards concerning pesticide residue. We regularly check for the effective enforcement of these standards to ensure that the quality of our raw materials exceeds government standards before we use them.
With regard to curcumin and rutin, the raw materials for Theracurmin® and EMIQ®, we use only the highest-purity raw materials that have passed our rigorous quality inspections and which are compliant with the Specifications and Standards for Food, Food Additives, etc. of Japan — a country with strict regulations on quality assurance and quality control of ingredients.
Our domestic factories are all FSSC 22000 (food safety systems including ISO 22000) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified and they operate under constant control. Our products are manufactured in the most sanitary and hygienically pure production environments under the most stringent quality management to ensure customers’ safety and fully meet customer trust.
